Reviews
Everything's almost perfect. We just missed the desserts as she's alone to run everywhere.
Excellent food, always,
in contrast to local competitors that benefit from better location
Slow service and average food and wine. 2 glasses of wine for aperitif came after 30min wait. No bread provided until we got up and asked. Foie gras accompanying sauce tasted odd and made me feel sick to the point of throwing up. Daurade tasted great except it was stuffed with lots of aniseed. Entrecôte not very tender.
Great value! We had the ribeye- cooked perfectly. Service director is very gracious and speaks very good English.
Recommendation from the owner of Bunan vineyards was excellent. Nice small town on a quiet street with great food and wonderful staff. The lamb with fresh pasta was incredible and simple. Lamb jus and lamb falling off the bone. There was a lost puppy that the restaurant gave water to and a patron took home. Rum baba cake had a bit too much rum. My wife had duck breast that was very tasty and again simple just good flavors of duck and duck jus.
Friendly staff.
Food comes in small proportions. No cheap wine options (no pichet only more expensive wine bottles).
Good food, friendly staff, one even spoke English, which is rare. Not cheap though.
perfect restaurant for those who want to experience meat or fish grilled over open fire.
Menu and taste in harmony with the surroundings (medieval village)
